Gazed into space and saw:

walls formed with trees; grottoes to live in;
planets and comets; stars and more:
things magical, wonderful, exciting to live for.

The grown man with tired mind
Gazed into space and saw:

bills for the food; seed for the lawn;
a wife with the flu; forty years — gone;
insurance and doctors; bosses and more:
time off is the only thing left to live for.

The Father with omnipotent mind
Gazed into space and saw:

kingdoms of glory for princesses and princes;
worlds lush with trees; mountains to roam in;
planets and comets; stars and more:
things magical; wonderful; exciting to live for!
